I have recently discovered Shiro Cosmetics, and let me tell you, I am already in love.
My first run I splurged and bought nineteen of their eyeshadows. Yeah, I know, I really don't go half-assed into anything, do I?
I got them last week, but was in the middle of a ridiculous cold and rubbing my eyes constantly, so I have not been able to try any until now.
Today I was going out and doing Errandry and Adulting, so I decided that in protest of having to act like a Real Adult I would actually wear makeup.
I'm wearing my Winchester Bros. World Tour shirt today (available at Red Bubble), which is a black shirt with a nice orange and red color-scheme going on, so I decided to try out Cornucopia, a gorgeous golden yellow, and Champion, whch is a really nice red.
e.l.f. Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer is on under all the eyeshadows, and L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black. I will do a post on at least the mascara later, because my feelings about it should not take over this post.
Pardon the blurriness in some of the pictures, please. Not only am I working with a camera phone but I am basically blind without my glasses, so it's hard to tell what's a good shot or not until I'm done.
Closeups under the jump.

The Obligatory Introduction Post

Hello there, all eight people I've told about this!
My name is Clex (not my real name), and I am learning about makeup.
I created this blog to help motivate myself to continue learning about makeup and, also, because I noticed that there aren't really blogs out there I could find that were geared towards people with virtually no understanding of makeup.
I'm twenty-five, and minus dressing up for Rocky Horror I've never really worn makeup before. I have done makeup for my friends (which I am weirdly good at), and fight makeup (I can do a mean looking bruise), but as far as I go, I've only ever really worn chapstick up until now.
But I want that to change, and this blog is going to help me. And maybe some of you, too.
